Before
Give each child a little one-on-one time with you, even 10 minutes. Special toys can be put away when a friend or sibling comes over.

During
Safety first: separate them calmly. Name both: "You wanted the car. You did too." The rule is the same for both.

After
Don't compare ("Your brother doesn't do that"). Help them repair: "Let's check if he's OK."
